HAPPY FALL

Ok so I LOVE Fall.  Out of all the months in the year, September, October & November are probably my favorite.
1. Football starts back up
2. Fall weather is the best time of the year!
3. Great Camping weather
4. Fall TV - my Tuesday's are jam packed.
5. I get to see my KY family at the end of the September!
6.

I used to hate August & September but ever since I started getting Allergy Immunology Shots, I couldn't love them more!

We did however start off this September with a bang!  This year for my husbands birthday I got him tickets for the Purdue vs. Notre Dame game.  He is a big Notre Dame fame and I couldn't think of a better gift at the time.  The night before the game we had to watch "Rudy" to get in the mood.  We decided that we would walk from the parking lot to the stadium rather than ride the shuttle.  My husband was so glad he did too cause the Notre Dame Fire Department was selling T-Shirts and of course we got him one.  We were both so amazed and in awe of the awesome day it was.  We walked straight to the Basilica to try and catch the team as they walked out of the their pregame mass to the stadium but must have just missed them.  We then headed over to where we heard the school band playing.  They were so good and did you know that they are all Volunteers.  Very few of them are actual music majors and the band consists of Notre Dame, Holy Cross & St Mary's college students.  To be able to walk around and see all the traditionally things going on and to be a part of it was just a really neat experience.  Not to mention that Notre Dame won!!!

The end of September we go to visit my KY family for the annual Ham Days Festival they have in their town.  I had the best time!  I got to hang out with my cousins which I don't get to do very often and I got to see a different side to them that was so funny!  I can't wait till next year!

The beginning of October we had a wedding in Toledo, OH.  My husbands cousin Sara got married to Mark and they are just the sweetest most fun couple!  My husband was an usher and his dad took all the pictures.  So I got to hang out with his family and they really made me feel welcome.  We don't go to Toledo very often to see all of his family because when we do go its to visit Grandma.  My husband got a little crazy during the wedding by breaking out the sprinkler, the lawn mower and the bus driver.  In fact he showed the brides father who is a bus driver how to do the move.  My husband, god bless him, but he has 2 left feet.  So if he dances it always the sprinkler and such.  Geesh

This past weekend I had my 10 year High School Reunion and I won't lie I really didn't want to go.  I've gained a lot of weight since High School and that made me nervous and self conscious.  Thankfully I had a new sweater, jeans and shoes to help me feel better about my looks.  I also have a classmate whose husband works with mine and so we all went together and that helped too.  So I took 2 shots of tequila before we left and I was ready to go!!! :)  I am so glad I went, I had a lot of fun getting to see my old friends and hopefully reconnecting with them.

Just think we are less than 3 months away from Christmas!
P.S. I totally meant this to be a Happy September post but we all see how that turned out.
