The Bathrooms
First of all we share a building with a call center and by sharing, I mean bathrooms. Lets face it call centers don't pay much, have crappy hours and benefits and they will hire just about anyone. Now I'm not saying that everyone that works in a call center is redneck, ghetto or just plain dirty because I know a couple of people who work there. My company moved 2 1/2 years ago from downtown to a truck stop. In our old downtown building the women shared a 4 stall bathroom and never had issues. Now us women are sharing a bathroom with about 12 stalls and its like going to a rest stop. Toilet paper all over the floor, smelly, dirty and of course a few messes that people just leave. Its just plain GROSS and that takes a lot for me to say. Not to mention we have a few people who use our restroom that I am not quite sure belong in ours but they sure could pass for the boys restroom! My biggest pet peeve of all in that bathroom, yes there is one bigger than all the above, is people who use their CELLPHONES while on the toilet! Talk about being rude and gross!
Last year our office moved some people around and at first I couldn't be happier but now I am wondering if I am. I used to sit next to the office pervert and the guy creeped me out so much that I finally went to HR and told them they had to move him or I was going to file a lawsuit! But now I sit next to a person who has to constantly talk about their bowl movements, has
I hate our cubicles as they are full 5'5" walls and I can't see my neighbors like I used to with our 3' walls in the old office. I also sit right next to the employee entrance, which means extra ducts to keep the temperature at the set level while people come in and out. Yea I wear a fleece jacket at work and have a space heater on daily just so I don't freeze to death.
Ahh the joys of working in a office!
Excuse me, I believe you have my stapler...
