Menu Monday Postponed

I would normally blog today on what our Menu for the week is but I decided to postpone it a day to talk about something that means much more to me.  Something historic happened this weekend and unless you live under a rock you know what I am talking about.

Health Care Bill

I am one of those millions of American's who have what is considered a pre-existing illness.  I have asthma and I can't afford a day without healthcare.  I also have had some family members who have lost their coverage because they were too sick and they cost the health insurance company too much money and were dropped.
There are many things that I know this bill could be and I also know that there are also many cons.  I wish more representatives worked together on this and not bicker.  Didn't we all learn that compromise can be the greatest asset and tool!
This is a very touchy subject for everyone.  I know what its like to not have insurance for a while and it was the scariest 10 months of my life.  Doing my best to be as healthy as possible knowing that that wouldn't always protect me.  Too much perfume, someone scaring me or a really hard workout can trigger an Asthma attack.  Without my insurance I also don't have the medicine to help keep my Asthma in check.

So to keep this short, I am for the Health Care Bill.  I hope that I have shed some light on what its like to be an Asthmatic and how this bill could help me and millions of others.
